Center PhilosophyThe philosophy of West Street Toy Box Child Care Centers has always been to provide high quality child care at the least expense price to the parents. We feel that high quality child care should be available to all social classes. Our philosophy as far as learning is repetition and continual exposure to a variety of learning experiences. We feel that children benefit from structured and exploratory learning experiences. Your child will have time during the day when they are allowed to learn and explore through their senses and the environment, we call this "child directed learning." They will also have times that they learn through group activities and what we call "teacher directed learning." We feel that both of these learning experiences are vital to the children's 'growth and development.
